((See, I never had the patience for that. All those little strokes and erasings. Which is ironic, considering how the center of the “good mouseart” debate is whether or not the artist has patience. XD))
Considering nearly every piece I did took me about nine hours just to do the lineart, coloring, and [potentially] shading…I had a lot of patience for it. Which is funny since I’m one of those people who has no patience for anything. But I really wanted to have nice pieces and I can’t color traditionally for shit, so I took to digital art instead.
Given the chance, though, I would like to learn to color things traditionally in a decent enough way. It’s good to be able to use different mediums. But I’ve got a long ways to go before I can get even half as good at that as I am with my digital stuff .-. Hopefully art school will help with that.

((Dude. How did you make your lines smooth like that? And I don’t mean in the sense that they’re straight. I mean that the line doesn’t look half broken in places like my old lineart did.))
Lots of short strokes to make up one big stroke. Then I used the eraser to smooth out the lines and do the line-width-variation thing. That’s what I mean when I say I sculpt lines, because that’s essentially what it is; you carve away at what you have until you have the shape you want.
I could probably try doing it again sometime and show you, if you want.

I don’t understand how they do it. The instinct I always have with using those is to touch lightly with my nails like for a DS. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SKIN? SOME PEOPLE HAVE BIG FINGERS
This is pretty much the problem I have. The screen on this phone is bigger than my last one though, so I’m not as likely to accidentally mash multiple keys.

Most touch screen phones have a function where they’ll vibrate when you hit a button, that makes life easier.
I’ll see if I can find something like that on my phone, then. It might help.

Did you give your sexy new router a sexy new name? ;D
Haaaa, well, the default name for the network was “White Cedar” for whatever reason. I renamed it to “Chippy” because we’ve had that as the name for our router since shortly before Chip died. And because I cannot think of good names. And also so the rest of my family would recognize it.

Oh God I hope so too. It would be nice if we could TF2 without you lagging horribly.
I didn’t even think about that. We’ll have to test it out after Kage leaves. Though I think it may also partially be my computer…? I’m not sure. *Shrugs* Either way, hopefully this’ll fix it some.

I know this is bad, but I have been pronouncing Kage as “Kah-gee”. I know its bad, yeah. Thought I should let you know.
It’s Kah-geh. May as well get the pronunciation out of the way, since I’m sure lots of people have been mispronouncing it.
